From Kartik Aaryan to Ayushmann Khurrana, these are the Bollywood actors to whom director Jagdeep Sidhu reached out for ‘Qismat’

Released in 2018 ‘Qismat’ was one of the highest grossing Punjabi movies of the respective year. The movie marked the directorial debut of Jagdeep Sidhu and starred Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta in the lead. However, did you know director Jagdeep Sidhu took the script of ‘Qismat’ to a couple of Bollywood actors before making it in Punjabi?

In a recent social media interaction session, director Jagdeep Sidhu was asked about the Bollywood actors to whom he suggested the movie ‘Qismat’. And replying to the same Jagdeep took not one or two but six names - Kartik Aaryan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Aayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal. However, seems like ‘Qismat’ was destined to be made in Punjabi and star Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta in the lead.
Meanwhile, Jagdeep Sidhu is busy shooting his next romantic drama ‘Sufna’, which again has Ammy Virk in the lead. Alongside him, Tania will be seen as the female protagonist. The movie is slated to release on February 14th 2020.

Further, Jagdeep Sidhu also has 'Qismat 2' slated to release next year. The sequel to his debut directorial will be making it to the big screens on 18th September, 2020.
