When we asked Babbal to define friendship, he said that it might take too long to exactly put friendship into words, but one thing is for sure that he can’t imagine his life without his buddies. “Right from my childhood friends, to my mahaulla friends, college friends, Australia friends, industry friends, all are very close to me,” he said.
“I choose my friends wisely; I don't make friends easily. I take my time, but once I make a friend I don't hide anything and I m always there for them,” added Babbal Rai.
He added that even in this fast-paced life, he has been in touch with each and every close friend of his. Be it through phone or Whatsapp, he makes sure to be in touch with them. Also, whenever he visits his hometown in Punjab, then he meets his buddies in person.
Further, in the conversation, Babbal Rai also confessed to being the prankster in his group. When we asked him that either he pulls pranks on his friends or is it the other way round, Babbal had a grin on his face. And before he said it out loud, we understood his confession.
On top of it, even on insisting, he didn’t disclose any prank that he pulled on record. But he did mention that he pulls pranks only on those who can bear it.
Moreover, while talking about friendship, Babbal Rai couldn’t keep his friends Jassie Gill and Prabh Gill out of the conversation. He mentioned “I am close to all but closer to Jassie and Prabh. We don’t see each other as artists often; rather meet as normal friends. Nonetheless, when it comes to working, we always give advice to one another. Jassie and I still do shows together and so far it all has been good.”
