. An innocent 19-year-old girl became the victim of gangrape and recently breathed her last in the Delhi hospital. The police have been alleged of cremating the body of the victim without the family’s consent. And talking about the same, in an exclusive word with ETimes, actress Kavita Kaushik mentioned, “The videos I saw of the cops burning her pyre without the family's wishes show the lowest level of evil in the system.”

“And we are going to celebrate Navratri soon? I want to say is it’s our country's spine which has been broken with Manisha, it’s our collective tongues being cut off, tooti reed ki haddi aur kati hui zabaan ab kaise mai bolu ki mera bharat mahaan,” she concluded.
Meanwhile, according to ANI, the National Human Rights Commission of India (NHRC) has issued notice to the Chief Secretary and DGP of the Government of Uttar Pradesh over the gang rape and brutality of a 19-year-old woman. Also, Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in Supreme Court seeking an investigation by CBI or SIT.
