Former Iranian supermodel and Indian actor,
Elnaaz Norouzi will raise money for her birthday along with a
crowdfunding
platform from her fans across the globe to help feed 6 to 7 thousand families of
Indian migrant workers
. Elnaaz will initiate this cause in association with the NGO. The money raised in this process by Elnaaz and her fans will directly go to the NGO for this marked cause.
" Few weeks back I saw a video of some migrant workers crying and saying that they don’t even have money to eat roti," says Elnaaz, adding, "It was such a heartbreaking video. I am helping the ones I know around me but there are so many more who need help. While I realise that I’m so fortunate and can survive through this bad time and live well to experience another year of life on my birthday, I needed to give back to this world. India has given me the life that I have now, I want to thank its people with this small gesture."
Elnaaz has done one Punjabi film, '
Khido Khundi
' which was based on hockey, and also modelled for two music videos. '
Dilagi
' for
Ranjit Bawa and 'Made In India' for
Guru Randhawa. She became one of the most popular foreign models to make her debut in the glamorous Punjabi music video industry.
The actor has made an appearance in a Pakistani film, 'Maan Jao Na' in 2018.
