Director Dilsher Singh: Lata Ji’s name will forever be engraved on our hearts

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar has left us all for a heavenly abode. Though physically she is no longer with us, her songs, her legacy will always help us feel her presence. According to the Punjabi director, Dilsher Singh Lata Mangeshkar will always live on in our hearts through her music.
“This news of our beloved nightingale’s sudden demise is harrowing me. Lata Ji is a true legend and has charmed several generations with her melodious voice,” said Dilsher Singh talking to ETimes exclusively.
“We have grown up listening to her songs, songs that have left an everlasting impact on people. Today the music industry and the entire world have lost a gem and a legend. Just like her songs, Lata Ji’s name will forever be engraved on our hearts,” he concluded.
Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to the hospital earlier in January after she was tested positive for the novel coronavirus. She recently showed signs of improvement but unfortunately, on Saturday she was put back on the ventilator and was under strict observation. A day later the reports of her demise came in, and left everyone in grief.
