Dev Kharoud’s ‘Blackia 2’ postponed; now to release on THIS date

Dev Kharoud starrer ‘Blackia 2’ is one of the highly anticipated Punjabi sequels of the year. The movie was scheduled to release on May 5, 2023, but recently the makers announced that the film’s release has been pushed forward. The audiences will have to wait a couple of more months now, as ‘Blackia 2’s official release date has been postponed to August 25.

Sharing the new release date of the movie with the poster, the lead star Dev Kharoud wrote - “ਏਸ ਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਬਲੈਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਹੋਏਗੀ। BLACKIA 2 25 ਅਗਸਤ 2023 ਨੂੰ ਸਿਨੇਮਾਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਚ।” (This time blackia will be bigger. BLACKIA 2 In theaters on August 25, 2023.)

Alongside Dev Kharoud, Japjhi Khaira will be seen sharing the screen. Further, besides starring as the maid lead, Dev has also worked on the story of the film. The movie has been directed by Navaniat Singh, whose last directorial was ‘Shareek 2’ starring Dev Kharoud and Jimmy Sheirgill.
Apart from ‘Blackia 2’, Dev Kharoud has a couple of other projects in the pipeline. His film ‘Yaaran Da Rutba’ cos-starring Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Rahul Dev, and Yesha Sagar is slated to hit the big screens on April 14, 2023. He also has ‘Maurh’ with Ammy Virk, whose release date is yet to be announced, among other projects.
