Bikkar bai's pahwa goes viral

The 'Pahwa' (the wooden block of a bed) has been used as the only weapon of defense by Jassi Jasraj who plays Bikkar Bai in his upcoming film.
The singer, actor Jassi, who has used the Pahwa once earlier too in one of his music video's from the album National Villager, decided to promote the 'Pahwa' everytime he promotes the film. As a result, now the Pahwa has gone viral on social networking sites.
Many of his fans are posting their pictures with the 'Pahwa' in a pose similar to that of Jassi in the film.
The film's producer Sandeep Bansal says, "The 'Pahwa' is fast gaining the status of a rebel for the youth who needed to vent their frustrations against the wrongs of system we are living in. 'Pahwa' is a symbol of support and strength. But when it turns in to a weapon, it can turn any throne upside down."
If age is any indication to support a cause, for reference, pictures with the 'Pahwa' on the film's home page are being posted by children as young as two-years-old to adults and even NRIs.
The film's action sequences reiterate the need for a weapon as rustic as the 'Pahwa' since the films' hero, Bikkar Bai, is depicted as a muscular, desi, stylish action hero of Punjabi films. The action stunts have directed by RP Yadav, who assisted ace stunt-director Veeru Devgan (Ajay Devgn's father).
