Recently, Rajinder sat for a candid cup of conversation with us on our exclusive segment #TheBigInterview, wherein he talked about what made him fall for Pollywood, what were the challenges he faced, how the Covid outbreak changed the entire game, and more.

What made you fall for the Punjabi industry?
Actually, I was a bhangra dancer in the college team as captain. I won university and many other prizes in bhangra. Further, I performed in many television programs with Punjabi artists which later on made me a part of the Punjabi industry.

How did you get a chance to manage Roshan Prince initially?
One of my friends Avtar recommend me to Roshan sir’s colleague, he interviewed me, and then as a manager, the journey began.

What were the challenges faced?
I had experience managing my bhangra team and diploma in business management which helped me to understand the requirements of managing artists. But, I must say that job is full of responsibility.

How did you switch to the line of executive productions?
Roshan Prince sir saw that ability in me. Initially, he pushed me to do so. Afterward, I did three movies, one short film, music videos and as of now, many more are to come.

Shed some light on the challenges Pollywood is facing because of the Corona outbreak.
This is a critical time for everyone and it has affected Pollywood more because several big movies that were ready to release are on hold, due to which producers can’t start new projects. Moreover, the technicians associated with Pollywood are in a great financial crisis. However, we will overcome this situation soon with a positive attitude.
