Ashnoor Kaur on her Pollywood debut: I don't want to do a typical heroine role

Ashnoor Kaur rose to fame at a very young age via her stunning performances on the small screen. Thereafter, nowadays her presence on the Punjabi music front is also helping her garner a lot of love. She was last seen featuring with Indeep Bakshi in Ayush Talniya’s song ‘Ignore’. During the promotions of the same, she and Indeep had a fun-packed Live session with us, wherein they answered a number of our and their fans’ questions.And one of the most asked questions was, what are Ashnoor’s plans about making a Pollywood debut. We asked her the very question towards the end of the conversation and she made it very clear that she would love to be a part of Pollywood. However, at the same time, she is very cautious about picking the subject and role for her acting debut in the Punjabi cine-world.

“I would love to (be a part of Pollywood). I am getting a few offers also, but I am waiting for the right one. I am being very cautious about what project I choose for my debut because I don't want to do a typical heroine role,” said Ashnoor during the conversation.
“I want to do an actor's role. Something where I have to perform. Not something where I am only standing or I am there to fill the glamour space on the screen. I want something where I can explore myself as an actor and actually use the acting skills rather than just being there for the glam part,” she added while speaking on the subject of her Pollywood debut.
Ashnoor has been a part of the entertainment industry for a very long time now. She confessed that being an actor from a young age has helped her gain both experience and confidence in her craft. Indeed Bakshi also said many appreciative words for Ashnoor during the conversation and expressed how beautiful of an artist she is.
