Ashke
’, a new addition has been made to the genre of Punjabi romantic songs. Featuring the trio of
Amrinder Gill,
Sanjeeda Ali Shaikh
and Rupi Gill, the melody captures love being confessed in mere glances.
Amrinder has always been known to give some of the best romantic songs; thus, he lent vocals to the track. The music has been given by none other than
Jatinder Shah and the lyrics are by Raj Ranjhod.

‘Ashke’ released last weekend on 27th July. The trailer of the same was released just a night before the movie made it to the theatre. It’s the story of Amrinder, a passionate bhangra performer who falls in love with the college principal’s daughter played by Sanjeeda Ali Shaikh. But eventually things take an ugly turn and Amrinder leaves his land, his loved dance form and Sanjeeda behind and shifts to Canada for starting a new chapter of his life. However, in Canada also he ends up being the coach of a bhangra team.
