He says, "I'm thankful to Swati Singh, who have given me the opportunity to be part of this film and connect with audience here. Punjabi movies have a great audience, including from international countries. Hence, the movie comes to me as a blessing and I look forward to act and make a bright career here in Punjabi cinema too."
Anvesh who is not a Punjabi, adds that he enjoyed learning the culture and the language. "I don't come from a Punjabi background. But I received a lot of complements in Mumbai as Punjabi Munda, they made me blush (smiles). Being part of this movie helped me to connect with the culture here. I'm shooting in Chandigarh and in Naya Gaon. During my stay local people helped me learn the basic dialect."
On working with experienced Punjabi actor Kartar Cheema, he says, "I play a doctor in the movie and most of the scenes are with Kartar sir. He is brilliant actor and very supportive. He actually helped me throughout the shoot. I found him very humble and grounded."
