After 'Gelo', Aditya Tarnach excited about working in husband-wife, Yuvraj Hans & Mansi's film
Having starred in the Punjabi film 'Gelo,' Chandigarh based actor Aditya Tarnach is now excited about his next Punjabi project 'Parindey' that stars real life couple, Yuvraj Hans and Mansi Singh in the lead. Besides Punjabi, Aditya also has few Bollywood films to his credit. Raised in Chandigarh, Aditya, who is an alumnus of GGDSD School, was always keen on acting. After shifting to Delhi for his graduation, he dabbled in theatre and subsequently decided to further hone his acting skills by enrolling in a course from Subhash Ghai's institute, under Naseeruddin Shah. "I admire his (Naseeruddin's) dedication for acting and his love for the craft," says Aditya.Aditya's last offering was Bollywood comedy drama movie 'Hum Do Hamare Do' with star cast including, Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah. He made his Bollywood debut with the film, 'Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania,' wherein he played Alia Bhatt’s brother. His third Hindi film was 'Bhoot' with Vicky Kaushal.

"I landed with 'Bhoot' after an audition where I was asked to give the right expressions," he says, adding, "I was quite nervous, as it is difficult playing a ghost. While makeup does help, the right expressions hold the key to playing a ghost well."For 'Bhoot' he read several horror stories, saw many horror movies and read about all the horror places in the world. "I bonded well with Vicky Kaushal during the making of the film.
We got along very well, more so because both of us are Punjabis. Vicky is the most down-to-earth star and I was awed with his humble and patient nature," he says. However, the genre in his wish list is of romance. "Since I grew up seeing Shahrukh Khan's films, doing a romantic genre is a given! Gangster roles also excite me, even anti-hero portrayals do. I am open to doing almost any role that I feel can add to my acting knowledge. An actor grows in his skill if he can explore as many characters as possible," he says. Commenting on foraying into the OTT space, Aditya feels that he is comfortable on all mediums, be it the big screen or OTT. "The making of a film for big screen and a TV/web show is the same thing and an actor needs to perform his best in both. OTT has thrown open many opportunities for actors and is a platform which is at par with Hindi films."Besides 'Parindey', Aditya is in talks for some more Hindi and Punjabi films. "I will try and keep entertaining my audiences with as many offerings as possible," he wraps up.
