Actor Prince Kawaljit Singh and director Rakesh Mehta stand in support of Diljit Dosanjh

On Tuesday Diljit Dosanjh took to his social media handle to send a polite reply to Ludhiana Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu’s demand for an FIR against him and another singer, Jazzy B, for “openly supporting” the demand for Khalistan. Sharing a video Diljit said, “I am an Indian taxpayer who has always stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the country and Punjab in time of need.” And now the singer-actor is also getting support from the fraternity. Actor Prince Kawaljit Singh and director Rakesh Mehta have taken to their social media handle to extend their support for Diljit.
Prince Kawaljit Singh shared Diljit’s video on his Instagram and wrote - “Full support hai baie ji @diljitdosanjh tusi sahi ho ... @kang_gurpartap”

On the same hand, Rakesh Mehta posted a picture of Diljit Dosanjh and in the caption penned - “I support @diljitdosanjh wholeheartedly ! Proud of Punjab, truly entertainer...no need to prove his sincerity to anyone...”

On June 18, Bittu accused both Diljit Dosanjh and Jazzy B of inciting youngsters to take up arms and join forces for a separate Sikh state of Khalistan. In a statement, Bittu mentioned, “The entire nation is still mourning its soldiers, but these extremists are supporting China to disturb India and Punjab’s peace”. In defense of the same, Diljit Dosanjh shared a video and made his point.
