, which were announced in August. And today, as the ceremony of the same took place in Delhi, Punjabi producer and distributor

was seen receiving the award for ‘Harjeeta’ from Vice President Venkaish Naidu.

Further, a day before the ceremony, Munish Sahni also shared the invite he received for attending the awards. Sharing the same he wrote, “"SUCCESS means courage to BET on your IDEA". Finally reached to recieve NATIONAL FILM AWARD for our punjabi film "HARJEETA" ��”


In the movie, Ammy Virk essayed the titular role and he was highly appreciated for the hard work he did to get into the skin of the character. However, when the movie was released back in 2018, it wasn’t able to do much business. Owing to which Ammy and the makers were a really disheartened. But when in August the news of ‘Harjeeta’ bagging the National Film Award came out, the sorrow went away, and team ‘Harjeeta’ was glad to know that their efforts finally paid off.
