Dosanjh reportedly mentioned that he went to see his very first movie only because he was angry with his mom.

Diljit’s mother sent him to his uncle’s place when he was very young. Though her intentions were purely good for her little boy, as she wanted him to learn better and get a good education in town, Diljit didn’t like going away from home. He stayed angry with his mother for apparently a good amount of time, and during the same, he saw his first movie. According to him, since his mother used to say that a good kid doesn’t watch movies, he did the complete opposite in his innocent temper.
