Did you know Romaana decided to keep his surname as his artist name?

In the Punjabi music industry, artists are mostly seen using stage names for their performances. For instance, Amrinderpal Singh Virk is popular as Ammy Virk, Hardevinder Singh Sandhu as Harrdy Sandhu, so on and so forth. Herein we can see how the artists have played around their name to get the right ring. However, the debutante singer Romaana didn’t play any such trick.Though he didn’t keep his complete name as his artist name, he didn’t change it as well; rather, he simply used his surname to do the trick.
“Romaana is actually my surname. I am from Mohali, and when I was young, people used to call me by my surname only like ‘Romaana come here’ 'oye Romane’. Later also everybody used to address me as Romaana. Thus, when it came to deciding an artist name, I thought why not use this only. Whereas, my complete name is Guraashish Romaana,” told the songster in an Insta Live session with ETimes.
In the same session, the Romaana also confessed that he would love to do playback for Bollywood star Varun Dhawan.
