After a long hiatus, veteran actor Kabir Bedi is re-entering

. The actor, we hear, has been finalized, to play an important character in the soon-to-begin project, Yaari Te Sardaari, directed by Simranjit Singh. The project will kick off from Punjab in June.
While Singh refused to comment on the development, the buzz is that Bedi has been roped in for the project formally. Bedi was last seen in

According to the sources, the plot of the film is intense and will show various elements in the backdrop of fight for supremacy. Mails and messages to Bedi did not elicit any response. A source, tracking the development, also revealed that Bedi, who is a true blue Punjabi himself, is open to doing Punjabi movies. “The reason behind such long gap is that he waited for a hard-hitting and good script.”
