Prodyut Mukherjee among artistes at Hyderabad House programme for European dignitaries
Tabla maestro Prodyut Mukherjee delivered a spellbinding performance at a lunch music concert hosted by PM of India Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House in honour of European leaders António Costa, President of the European Council, and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.
Prodyut, a Grammy Jury member and GiMA award winner, performed alongside artistes Ranjan Kumar and Satish Kumar Pathak, presenting a thoughtfully curated repertoire that reflected India’s rich and diverse musical heritage.
Blending classical, folk and global influences, the performances showcased the depth and versatility of Indian musical traditions while also building bridges across cultures – an apt gesture in the presence of international dignitaries.

The ensemble opened with evocative renditions of raga Sarang and Mishra Khamaj, before moving across genres and cultures.
