Mukta wants to produce more plays

Following an overwhelming response to her maiden theatre production 'Chhapa Kaata', actress Mukta Barve is keen on producing more plays.
Following her stints in films like 'Lagna Pahave Karun' and 'Mangalashtak Once More', Mukta started a production house in memory of late actress Rasika Joshi last month. Her maiden theatre venture 'Chhapa Kaata', in which she plays the lead role alongside veteran actress Reema Lagoo is garnering appreciation from the audience.Mukta said, "The response has been overwhelming. Even seats in the balcony level are being booked, which is normally not the case. It is really a very encouraging response for any producer."
When she launched her production house she was clear about wanting to produce good plays. "I want to produce more plays but it is really difficult to find good stories. I am very selective when it comes to this," she said.
