Mayuresh Pem is excited about his new play

Well-known theatre actor Mayuresh Pem is doing Marathi play 'Vastraharan,’ which has made a comeback after a long gap.
'Vastraharan' created quite a sensation when it was staged for the first time in February 1980 by Machchindranath Kambli, a renowned Marathi-Malvani theatre actor-director and made history of performing for the 5000th time, at the Shanmukhananda Hall on 21st November 2009.The classic is now back with a bang.
Based on the life of Draupadi, when the Kauravas tried to disrobe her, 'Vastraharan' is a play within a play. Obviously quite excited to be a part of this project, Mayuresh recently posted on social media, ‘Nakki ya ! Punha Ekda ‘Vastraharan’ (sic).
We are sure this play will again rock the Marathi theatre arena.
