Talking about the play, Joshi shares, "I play the role of Anand Dhalphale. I am extremely happy about getting to work with Savita and Purushottam. In fact, the reason I agreed to take up this play is because it is written by my dear friend Rajan Mohadikar. I completely trust his talent."

Returning to stage after almost 12 years, Savita says, "I am getting to play a character that I have never played before. Plus, this gave me a chance to work with my favourite artistes Mohan and Purushottam. How could I let this opportunity go?"

'Sumi aani Amhi' is a two-act family drama. Uday Lagoo, Rajesh Chitnis, Pradeep Joshi, Chandrashekhar Bhagwat are also playing pivotal roles.
