I want to do Marathi theatre: Shikha Talsania

Whether it is ‘Wake Up Sid’ or recently released ‘Veere Di Wedding’, Shikha Talsania manages to hold her own in the midst of an ensemble star cast. Currently enjoying her tryst with an English play ‘Dekh Behen’ as an actor and co-director, Shikha is more than willing to try her hand at Marathi theatre too.
Having stayed in Maharashtra for years and also studied Marathi in school, ask her if she would also like to act in a Marathi play and Shikha is quick to reply, "As an actor I have no issues working in any genre as long as I'm happy about the work that I do.I definitely want to do Marathi theatre but the bigger point here is that Marathi producers and directors have to offer good plays to me. My Marathi language is fairly good, so I think I can do full justice to the role on stage."
