Actress Vibhawari Deshpande shares positive and negative sides of lockdown
Vibhawari Deshpande who has established herself as an actor in Marathi film and experimental theatre is also known for her writing skills for the industry. She is utilizing this lockdown time for the later.
Recently seen in a web series, the Tikali and Laxmi Bomb movie actress says that there are two sides for everything, one positive and negative. Sharing about positives of the lockdown with Pune Times, Vibhawari says, "Lockdown gave me plenty of time to write.

Before lockdown I used to spend two days in Mumbai and remaining in Pune. But I couldn't get much time to write. Now I am completing a play which is based around relations in lockdown. Also, there is another incomplete projects which I will complete soon. I enjoyed writing without any pressure of strict deadline. Also, it gave me plenty of time to read." Vibhawari also wrote a serial, Athashe Khidkya Naushe Dara with writer Shrirang Godble and the serial become a first Marathi serial to shoot from home during lockdown.
Though these were the positive things for her, she did not forget to mention the negative side of the lockdown, "This period is crucial for artists like us who are suffering due to loss of pay. The pandemic has stopped the entertainment industry and it has left an everlasting impact on each one's life."
On the work front, apart from appearing in various web series, the actress is searing work in Hindi. She added, "I am not comfortable with the TV serials due to commitment it requires. If I get interesting content then I will think of doing one. But now I am meeting many casting directors and giving auditions for Hindi industry. There is tough competition in Hindi industry. Thought I got small roles in these web series but it was important for me. This will help me to get a good project in the industry. I know I have to struggle a lot and I am working towards it."
