Actor Sanjay Narvekar misses delicacies from Konkan during the festival

Ganesh festival

becomes more special for theatre artistes as theatre groups plan shows of different plays across states and even other nearby states. Going to tours and staging plays brings happiness to these artistes. Considering the festival season, back to back shows and travel sounds hectic but for artistes it is an opportunity to gather experiences, enjoy local cuisine and have fun while entertaining the audience. Actor Sanjay Narvekar misses such tours and different experiences the actor used to gain during the festival.

According to Sanjay Narvekar theatre tours are there but tours which used to be there in the past were totally different. He tells, "Mostly our troop used to stage our play in the

Konkan

and Goa area. In those tours, after a show, local people not only used to meet us to give feedback but used to take us home for food. It was a heart touching gesture by the localite. They used to make fresh local delicacies specially for us. I still remember the taste of different delicacies I have had there. Also, Konkan and Goa are rich in culture and nature we also used to enjoy that. Local people there used to shower love and I miss those days. I miss going on such tours and have nicely home cooked food which is served with love."

The actor has impressed audiences with his work in various Bollywood and Marathi movies. Recently he was seen in movie Yere Yere Paisa 2 a sequel of comedy film Yere Yere Paisa and Khari Biscuit. Both films did good on box office. The actor has also entertained audiences with his comedy plays All the best, Aadhantar, Aashi Pakhare yeti, Locha are amongst others.
