Nana Patekar’s lunch for Naam volunteers

Actor Nana Patekar recently organised a lunch for the

volunteers

of

Naam Foundation

. The NGO is floated by Patekar along with well-known Marathi actor Makarand Anaspure, to help the drought-hit

farmers

of

Vidarbha

and Marathwada in Maharshtra.

The basic objective of Naam Foundation is to focus on generating employment, providing education to children of farmers facing financial crisis and finding a permanent solution to the water scarcity issues.

During the lunch, Patekar, who was clad in a simple white attire of dhoti, bandi, gamccha and Gandhi topi, was seen joking and interacting with the volunteers. He personally attended to their needs and was seen serving them various dishes. The actor, who is famous for his hard-hitting roles in films like ‘Parinda’, ‘Prahaar’ and ‘Ab Tak Chappan’, also made sure all the volunteers felt at home and appreciated their work for the foundation.
