Salim Merchant’s first Marathi song Jhilmil

Singer Salim Merchant, predominantly known and admired for his Hindi songs has recently given his voice to a Marathi song— ‘Jhilmil’— a music video that features Marathi actor Pushkar Jog. Since this is Salim’s first Marathi song, he seems super excited with the release of the song.
Salim recently posted on his social media account, “Really enjoyed singing #Jhilmil composed by Sai – Piyush.It’s my first Marathi song!”
Sharing some details on the song, Pushkar Jog, who can be seen in the music video, told TOI, “The song is sung by Salim Merchant. This is his first Marathi song. The song has distinct flavour of the singer and is an amazing peppy number,” says Pushkar.
Salim Merchant of the Salim- Sulaiman duo is known predominantly for his music in Hindi films and it will be interesting to see how audience love his Marathi song.
