Music Review: Judgement

Fresh compositions and accompanying vocals are the highlights of Judgement’s album.
Music Review: Judgement
Naval Shastri has composed the first two tracks while Manoj Nayan has collaborated for the film’s title track.
Tujhya Sobatila, the first song on the list, is sung by Aanandi Joshi. The composition is serene and uses minimal instruments, giving Aanandi a fair share of the spotlight, and the young singer makes the most of it with her pitch-perfect vocals.
Next is Javed Ali’s melodious Yalgaar, a song with encouraging lyrics.
1x1 polls
While the song has the usual uplifting music sequence, it uses a qawalli-style sequence in between that breaks the monotony it would’ve otherwise slipped into. Javed delivers what is expected of him and makes the song stand out.\
The last song, the film’s title track, is sung by Brijesh Shandilya of Banno (Tanu Weds Manu: Returns) fame. This track is in stark contrast to the previous two as it takes a more dark tone. Vijay Bhanu’s lyrics are good but while fitting them into this tune, the team misses the mark. Though Brijesh tries his best, his faulty Marathi pronunciations hamper the song.
Having said that, Judgement’s playlist is, to use a cliched term, different. While the title track doesn’t really hit the mark, the other two songs make up for the drawback.
