Today, on the auspicious occasion of 'Ashadi Ekadashi', we got in touch with

cinema's eminent singer Atul Gogavale who works in tandem with his younger brother Ajay Goavale and the duo is popularly called Ajay-Atul.

Ajay-Atul's superhit track 'Mauli Mauli' became an anthem of all time. While speaking about the same, Atul said "To be honest, I never went to wari but my grandparents used to for wari every year, so it was part of our culture. Lord

"We did two songs (Mauli Mauli' from

Lai Bhaari

and '

Mazi Pandharichi Maay

' from Mauli) but never felt any stress during the making of these songs. We felt that Lord Vitthal himself did this through us" Atul added.

When asked about any special message for his fans on this auspicious day, Atul said "This year we couldn't go for 'wari' due to Pandemic but next year we will celebrate our Ashadi Ekadashi at Pandharpur"
