Are Saleel Kulkarni and Shankar Mahadevan collaborating for a film?

Known for his hatke music and vocals in the Marathi industry, composer Saleel Kulkarni recently made his directorial debut with the Marathi film Wedding Cha Shinema.
The film, featuring Shivraj Waichal and Rucha Inamdar, was received well and cemented Saleel's presence as a director. On Aug 29, the composer-director took to social media and posted a photo with Shankar Mahadevan, setting off rumour mills about a possible collaboration between the two.
Saleel's reply to a fan who asked him when they would get to see Saleel in the director's chair again, further added to the speculation after Saleel replied asking the fan to wait for an official announcement.

While Shankar has featured in the hit Katyar Kaljat Ghusli before, it would be interesting to see him as an actor again considering the fact that his role as Panditji was well-received in the Subodh Bhave directorial.
