Although most kids in Maharashtra are taught the song ‘Nach re Mora’, very few know it was composed by the humorist and litterateur Purushottam Laxman Deshpande, better known as PuLa.
Whenever PuLa, a multifaceted personality, took out his harmonium, it created sheer magic. His songs from Gulacha Ganpati, were given playback by legends like Asha Bhosale, Vasantrao Deshpande, Bhimsen Joshi and Manik Verma.
