Director Subhash Phadke's 'Maharashtracha Swarajya', an upcoming Marathi film, has recently shot a prayer song, titled 'Prarthana', with 2000 children from the interiors of Maharashtra.
The film, which is directed by Subhash Phadke, will release early next year and deals with the education system of the state. “It is a different story and deals about the way we can improve the education system of the state.

Numerous Marathi schools are forcibly being closed in the villages due to lack of students. But, through this film, we want to propagate the necessity of English and Marathi in the state,” informed director Phadke. The song sequence has been shot in 15 schools with more than 2000 children taking an oath.
Subhash has earlier directed films like 'Bandya and Babli' with Prasad Oak and Pushkar Shrotri.
