Samit Kakkad's 'Bachchan' to start filmimg

Director Samit Kakkad is all set to take his next project on floors in September-October. Samit who also wrote Bachchan with Hrishikeh Koli, calls Bachchan his dream project and does not want to work under stress of having a release date.
Speaking on Bachchan, the actor says , ““I am a huge Amitabh Bachchan fan. Bachchan is script that is very close to my heart and when I narrated the film to Ameya Khopkar and Swati Khopkar, they both shared my excitement.This is my tribute to the legend himself and is a gritty action drama.” said Director Samit Kakkad.”
Bachchan is set to be shot in Mumbai and areas around Maharashtra. It is being produced by Swati Khopkar, Om Prakash Bhatt and Sujay Shankarwar. The movie is currently in its pre-production state where Samit is handling aspects like casting. Samit has previously worked on films like ‘Half Ticket’ and ‘Aayna Ka Baayna’ which gave producers faith in Samit being the right person to direct the film.
“Bachchan is a film unlike any other, weaving in reality into fiction so seamlessly.I had never read anything so interesting and I am happy we are producing it. Samit Is an extremely talented director and we are positive that the audiences will love the film” said Producer Ameya Khopkar.
