Prashant Damle turns desi James Bond

The versatile actor known for his multidimensional characters in Marathi theatre as well as cinema is all set to play a spy in his next film titled ‘

Bho Bho

’. Although his character Vyankatesh Bhonde seems like a far cry from the suave James Bond, Prashant Damle is excited about the role. “The character of Vyankatesh Bhonde is very different than the roles I have essayed before. He is a spy whose professional life complicates his personal life. The story is very well executed by the director Bharat Gaikwad,” informs Damle. Damle feels that the role of Vyankatesh, the spy is going to be a very memorable role in his career. ‘Bho Bho’ is a suspense thriller that boasts of a star-studded cast including Subodh Bhave, Sanjay Mone, Sharad Ponkshe, Ashwini Ekbote, Saurabh Gokhale, Anuja Sathe, Kishore Chougule and Ketaki Chitale. The film is set to release on April 22.
