Marathi cinema's famous star kids

As the Marathi industry has mounted to newer heights, a younger generation of performers is seen making their entry. Like Bollywood where more often star kids follow the footsteps of their parents and become a part of the film fraternity, kids of Marathi actors, are also increasingly being linked with the cine industry. Here are some such examples.

Abhinay Berde is the son of late Marathi legendary actor Laxmikant Berde and Priya Berde, who made his debut in Marathi cinema in 2016, in the movie 'Ti Sadhya Kay Karte'. This 20-year-old successfully created his chocolate boy image amongst his fans. According to reports, he is soon to be seen in Sachin Pilgaonkar's next 'Ashi Hi Aashiqui'.

Shriya Pilgaonkar daughter of evergreen actor Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Pilgaonkar made her debut on television in the Hindi serial 'Tu Tu Main Main'. Shriya made her big screen debut with the 2013 Marathi film 'Ekulti Ek' and made her Bollywood debut in the 2016 film 'Fan'.

Adinath Kothare is the son of famous filmmaker and actor Mahesh Kothare. Adinath first appeared on screen as a child actor in his father Mahesh Kothare's film 'Maza Chakula' (1994). Adinath later made his Bollywood debut in Sanjay Surkar directed sports drama 'Stand By' and his many more ventures made him the most popular celeb star kid in Marathi cinema. Adinath is also an assistant director in his father's films. In 2003, Adinath assisted in the huge hit Marathi film 'Chimnee Pakhara'.

Satya Manjrekar is the son of famous Mahesh Manjrekar. Satya made his debut as a child artist in 'Aai' (1995). He also starred in 'Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!' (2005). He was also associated with the 2017 movie 'FU: Friendship Unlimited' directed by his father Mahesh Majrekar which also starred Akash Thosar and Sanskruti Balgude.

Actress-director Mrinal Kulkarni's son Virajas has taken after his mother and is an actor-director. He even assisted Mrinal in her directorial debut 'Rama Madhav'. Much before 'Rama Madhav', he had directed and acted in his first play 'Anathema'.

Sharad Kelkar is not only an amazing actor but a doting daddy too. Sharad got married to actress Keerti Kelkar in 2005 and the couple is blessed with a cute baby girl Kesha. Kesha's adorable pictures on social media have already brought her to the limelight.

Maayra Joshi is the daughter of all time favourite Marathi star Swwapnil Joshi. The little girl looks extremely cute in her pictures on social media. Maayra, born on 23 May 2016, made daddy Swwapnil to take a break for a while from his ventures to spend some time with his little angle Maayra.
