Why Adinath was asked to audition for a film

Recently actor Adinath Kothare auditioned for a Marathi film tentatively titled 'Avtarachi Goshta'. Apparently director Nitin Dixit, who has earlier written films like 'Vavtal', 'Zhakaas' and 'Dhag', didn���������t find Adinath suitable for the role and hence Adinath had to audition for it.
���������The producers might have had some commercial aspect in mind while casting Adinath for this role.However, I was skeptical as I had not seen him in such a rile before. Before finalising the casting, Adinath read the scenes for me. I like the way he enacted them and thus took him on board. Contrary to his image of a romantic hero, he will not be seen romancing any heroine in this film,��������� said Nitin.
The film is a story about a young boy who has grown up listening to mythological stories. He has an imaginary world. The family���������s tenant Amod dada (played by Adinath) helps him come out of it. When contacted, Adinath said, ���������I liked the script and wanted to do the film. I have never played such a character before. I auditioned for the role and I am glad that I got selected. The audition was not only for the director but also for me to see what I could do. I did a lot of homework for this film.��������� Popular Bollywood villain Ashish Vidyarthi will also be seen in a special role. ���������Ashish���������s character is a figment of the boy���������s imagination. He plays a demon,��������� said Nitin.
