Western Ghats inspire National Award winner

National Award-winning cinematographer-director Avinash Arun has a deep connect with the Sahyadri mountains.
In fact, his next Marathi movie ���Boomerang��� is also inspired by the scenic beauty of these mountains. ���Killa��� director told us, ���I grew up in the arms of nature and Sahyadri mountains are an integral part of my life as most of my childhood was spent in that region.So, in my next film, I will showcase that connection.���
The filmmaker, who has worked with children in his first film, lamented the lifestyle of the kids today. ���Children today live in concrete jungles and are more attached to the gadgets. It���s sad to see how this generation does not know the value of staying close to nature,��� said he.
He was reluctant to give details of his next outing, but he did reveal that it is inspired by an important incident from his own life. ���The cast has not been finalised till now. And I���m currently working on the script, so it���s premature to speak about it,��� he told us.
