First look poster of Mahesh Manjrekar's 'De Dhakka 2' released

Actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar is one of the renowned and respected names in the Marathi and Bollywood film industry, who gained name, fame, and love of the audience by his phenomenal performances. Now, the filmmaker is all set to take the audience on a rollercoaster ride with his upcoming comedy film 'De Dhakka 2'. 'De Dhakka 2' is a sequel to 2008 film 'De Dhakka' which did pretty well and fans are expecting to see more in this part. The film is slated to release on 3rd Jan 2020.



Amey Wagh and Sai Tamhankar starrer 'Girlfriend' released

Bollywood's eminent screenplay and story writer, Upendra Sidhaye's debut directorial 'Girlfriend' which was released this week. The makers of the film hosted a special screening for all their celebs from Bollywood and Marathi cinema last night. Many Bollywood stars attended it and it was one star-studded affair. While the film traces the life of Amey Wagh and his journey with his girlfriend (played by Sai Tamhankar) and well, both of them indeed make it look like a promising watch.


Deepak Dobriyal

Bollywood star, Deepak Dobriyal who made his debut in Maqbool (2003), and also known for his stellar performance in 'Tanu Weds Manu'’s Pappi or 'Hindi Medium's Shyam Prakash. Now, the star is all set to try his luck in Marathi film industry with Sanjay Dutt's upcoming Marathi venture 'Baba'. While speaking to Etimes, Deepak, said " I have done several Bollywood films and audience have always appreciated my roles. But Marathi cinema has given a new break which is a new journey and I love this journey. I am playing a very interesting character in the film and one can say that I am playing a titular role in the film."

Kargil Vijay Diwas

Every year 26th July is celebrated as the Kargil Vijay Diwas and is remembered for the success of Operation Vijay in the 1999 Kargil War. On this day, 20 years ago, India had won the war against the neighbouring nation. Many of our jawans gave their lives while fighting for their motherland. On the patriotic occasion, many of our Marathi stars have taken to social media to express their gratitude to our armed forces and to pay homage to the martyrs of the Kargil War.

Amey Wagh, who started his journey on the silver screen with the film, ‘Kawadse', has always impressed the audience with his brilliant performances. And recently, In an exclusive interview, 'Girlfriend' lead star, Amey Wagh who is set to share the screen with Sai Tamhankar for the first time, he said "I am a big fan of Sai Tamhankar. Sai is known for her brilliant performance in Marathi cinema. She acts so perfectly as if she was born in front of the camera. She understands the technicalities of acting on screen. She is a workaholic and good at everything she does"
