Urmila adds Adinath's name

While Marathi actresses like Sai Tamhankar, Amruta Khanvilkar and Priya Bapat have preferred to retain their maiden names post marriage, Urmila Kanetkar has chosen the road less taken, and has added her husband Adinath Kothare's name to hers, three years after marriage.
In the upcoming movie 'Kaakan', the audience will see her name flashing as Urmila Adinath Kothare in the credit roll.
Despite being a renowned actress herself, Urmila attributes her success to her spouse. She said, ���This is the first time I'll be introduced like this in any of my films. This is going to be my identity for all my future movies. Adinath is the love of my life and thus I'm sporting his name. And, when I told him and my father-in-law about this decision, they were both really glad. They have been extremely supportive.���
Urmila and Adinath first met each other on the sets of Shubh Mangal Savadhan, which was directed by Adinath's father and veteran director Mahesh Kothare. They recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary.
While Adinath will next be seen in 'Sata Lota Pan Sagla Khota', Urmila is romantically paired with Jitendra Joshi for the first time in 'Kaakan'.
