', which has been praised in many national and international festivals, is all set to hit big screens on June 3.
Trushant Ingle's debut directorial Marathi film 'Zollywood' is based on the
Zadipatti
theatre, the film features real actors from Zadipatti and ordinary people who have never acted before.
The rest of
Maharashtra does not have much information about the popular Zadipatti plays in Vidarbha. However, the Vidarbha region is also known for producing talented stage artists through ‘Zadipatti.
Therefore, for the first time through 'Zollywood', Zadipatti will reach all over the world in the form of a film.

's film 'Zollywood' brings to the fore the region’s rich and one of the oldest theatre festivals —Zhadipatti. Like Marathi films or Bollywood cinema, 'Zhadipatti' is equally popular in Vidarbha.
