Tanuja gets a sashtang pranaam from author Sudha Murthy

After watching actress Tanuja in the film Pitruoon, author Sudha Murthy's gave Tanuja a sashtang pranaam in the theatre.
Executive producer of the film, Sanjay Dawra recalled the incident and said, "Sudha Murthy, on whose short story is film is based on, was happy to see the way her story was presented on the big screen. She was particularly impressed with Tanuja's performance.So after watching the movie, she insisted on watching it again. And just before the beginning of the next show she gave a sashtang pranaam for Tanuja. She said that Tanuja brought more life to her Bhagirathi (the character played by Tanuja in the film) than she did while writing."
