Swanandi Berde dedicates her first tattoo to her Baba

She has just returned to her Mumbai home after a leisurely holiday at Goa with her friends. Along with some beautiful memories, Swanandi Berde has brought along a special memento. “I have just got inked,” reveals the 18-year-old actor, who will soon make a debut in Marathi industry with two back-to-back films. Admitting that it is an extremely emotional decision, she shares, “I have always wanted to get inked and my first tattoo had to be unique.I lost my father when I was four and I have missed him acutely every single day since then. So, my new tattoo reads – Lakshya – the sweet shortened form of my dad Laxmikant Berde’s name. Now I feel he is even closer to me than ever; it’s strange but I feel quite protected and happy with his name on my person. This one is for you, Baba!”
Try to divert her attention and ask her if she has signed any more projects after 'Mann Yedyagat Zaala' and 'Respect' and Swanandi simply says, “I’m waiting for my films to release to see how the audience reacts to me as an actor to decide further course of action. I don’t want to ask people for work just because I’m Priya and Laxmikant’s daughter; I hope filmmakers ask me to work in their films because they like my work.”
