Siddharth Chandekar who is known for movies like

on screen.
But recently on social media he expressed to do so. Spending lockdown at his home is trying to connect with his fans on regular basis through social media. Recently he took social media and interacted with a Marathi movie news related website.
In the interaction, he shared about the things he is yet to explore in the movie industry. he said, "I want to do historical character like

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj

or Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. I don't know I have achieved that much to essay these eminent personalities or will be able to do justice but really want to do the roles." He shares he love watching historical films and he is a fan of films like

Farzand

, Fatteshikast, Hirkani and many more historical films.
While sharing a childhood memory, he adds, "In play Raigadala Jevha Jaag Yete I had played a role of historical character. But after that I never played one. I am really looking for it." The Miss U Mister actor loves history and in his board examination he has scored almost out of marks in the History subject. "I love history so much that I have always scored good marks in the history subject," he adds.
Got engaged with actor Mitali Mayekar last year, had planned wedding this year but due to lockdown it is on hold for some time. The actor will announce it once they finalize the new dates.
