Shruti Marathe to play Jr. NTR's wife in 'Devara' Part 1; details inside

Actress Shruti Marathe, who is well-known for her movies like 'Rama Madhav', 'Taptapadi', and 'Bandh Nylon Che' among others, has bagged a key role in Koratala Siva’s film 'Devara: Part 1' opposite Jr. NTR.

During the interaction with the Star Media Marathi portal, Shruti revealed that she had been roped in to play the role of Jr. NTR’s wife. Meanwhile, Shruti’s fans are rooting for her regarding this new role and looking forward to watching her acting prowess in this pan-India film. 'Devara' is expected to be released on the big screens on October 10.


According to reports, Devara’s team completed shooting in Hyderabad and shifted to Goa for the next schedule. The Goa schedule, commencing on March 19, involved shooting a song and was anticipated to last a week.

Reports suggest that an extensive set was erected on a beach in Goa for filming a fight sequence. Alongside Jr. NTR and Shruti, Jahhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, and other actors will also feature in this film.


Recently, Janhvi shared on Instagram that she has finished her part, along with a sunset picture from Goa, saying that she is excited to return to the 'Devara' sets.

Sharing the picture, Janhvi wrote, “I can’t wait to come back and be #Thangam again. #Devara.”

Meanwhile, the makers have yet to announce the release date.
