Seems that Bollywood actor
Shraddha Kapoor has a liking for Marathi cinema. On Thursday, the actress will be attending The Umed Awards function in Pune which is spearheaded by Marathi film director Mahesh Tilekar. Shraddha will be felicitated with the Umed Award along with senior actor
Aruna Irani and Marathi actors
Adinath Kothare,
Shruti Marathe and
Ashok Saraf. Choreographers Rahul Shetty, Paul Marshall and Sanam Johar are some other recipients of the awards which will be given away by legendary singer Asha Bhosle and others.
The Umed Awards are given to artistes who have contributed to stage, serials and films and also to promote new comers to encourage them in their future journey.
With many bigwigs from the Marathi fraternity slated to attend the award function, it will be no surprise if Shraddha is approached for a Marathi project. But the question is whether the actress is keen to act in a Marathi film? We guess only time can tell.
