'Shahir of Maharashtra': Character poster of Shubhangi Sadavarte as 'Lakshmibai Ganpatrao Sable' unveiled!

Kedar Shinde is currently gearing up for the shooting of 'Shahir of Maharashtra' with Ankush Chaudhari and Sana Shinde.

Today, on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Shinde took to his Instagram handle to share a character poster of Shubhangi Sadavarte as 'Lakshmibai Ganpatrao Sable' from the film.

Sharing the poster, Shinde wrote, "आज लक्ष्मीपूजना दिवशी सादर करीत आहोत..

Speaking about the beginning of the shooting of the film, Kedar Shinde said, “The biopic on my grandfather Shahir Sable is a historic moment for all of us. I am happy that I am playing a role to realize the dream. I have the great influence of my grandfather on my life. Under his guidance and mentorship, I learned a lot which helped me in doing good work in this field. The day at the beginning of the shooting is a golden moment for all of us. I am happy and feel proud about it"

Legendary Krishnarao Ganpatrao Sable, popularly known as Shahir Sable was a well-known singer, writer, playwright and actor. He was the one who gave the state its unofficial anthem 'Jai Jai Maharashtra Maza'.

The film is slated to release on April 28 2023.
