But for Santosh Juvekar this Ganeshotsav turned out to be an extra special one. Reason? Well, for the first time, the 'Zenda' actor had installed Ganesha idol at his home. Expressing his happiness on social media, he wrote, "With the arrival of Bappa, the negative thoughts and stress that we are all experiencing for the past few months, disappeared. I have one more request to the Lord is that he must relieve all of us from the coronavirus. I ask for wisdom and good health as well."
Ask him the reason behind bringing Bappa home and he replied, "For the past 40 long years, every Ganeshotsav, we Juvekars bring home Bappa. Before this, my grandmother and then my paternal uncle had been installing Ganesha idols at their homes. So, in the 41st year, Bappa has arrived at my home. In fact, since the last two I had been contemplating on the same. I had bought a new house, which was under renovation but this time I made sure that we begin this tradition come what may. The seniors in the family have successfully managed this huge responsibility so I have decided to take this four-decade old tradition ahead."
On Sunday, Santosh bid an emotional adieu to Bappa. After the visarjan, he uploaded an adorable picture with his parents clicked during the breakfast time. "Having tea and biscuits with aai-baba is so de-stressing. One seldom gets such an opportunity," he said.
