Sakhi Gokhale returns to arc lights after two years

Sakhi Gokhale, who flew to London to pursue higher studies has returned to India after two long years. Not just this, but the 27-year-old actor is also back to work and has started shooting for Nikhil Mahajan's Godavari. In fact, the shoot began in Nashik. The film stars Priyadarshan Jadhav, Gauri Nalawade, Neena Kulkarni, Sakhi Gokhale, Siddharth Menon and Sanjay Mone.We learnt that 'Godavari' is on the verge of completion, with just one schedule left.
Obviously then, is happy to be back in front of the arclights. "I must say the experience of being on a film set after two years was surreal," says she, and goes on to add, "The script came to me, two months prior to my India return. I gave the auditions when I reached in Mumbai, after which I was finalised for the role. I'm glad that I took that breather and went to London as it gave me a completely fresh perspective towards acting."

Actor and husband of Sakhi, Suvrat Joshi is also back in India after almost seven months. However, the two haven't met each other yet. "He recently completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine. He is in his mother residence, which is in the outskirts of Goa. I can't wait to meet him," says she.
Sakhi and Suvrat got married in April last year. The two tied the knot in Konkan amidst the presence of their family members and a few friends from the industry.
