National Tourism Day is celebrated every year on 25th January to promote and encourage tourism.
On this National Tourism Day, ETimes got in touch with actress Sai Tamhankar who recently hosted a documentary series 'Postcards from Maharashtra' on a popular channel, as a guide to discover the lush landscapes, magnificent architecture, cultural hotspots, and delightful cuisine of the state!
Sai Tamhankar said, "Maharashtra is my home town, I got a chance to visit several places but never got a chance to explore it. I consider myself lucky that I got a chance to host this show. Because of this show, I could discover the lush landscapes, magnificent architecture, cultural hotspots, and delightful cuisine of the state"
"I was so amazed to see that there are peeple who have kept our culture still alive. I felt very nice. We have so many magnificent architecture and cultural hotspots. We can give real tribute to them by taking care of them and maintaining them. I think we need to explore our own country, state and city first before exploring other parts of the world," Sai concluded.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sai will be next seen in Prakash Kunte's 'Colorphool' opposite Lalit Prabhakar.
