Sai Tamhankar donates Rs 1.5 lakh to COVID-19 relief

Celebrities are coming forth to extend a helping hand for those in need in times of the coronavirus pandemic and the likes of Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, PV Sindhu, Hrithik Roshan and more have donated to the relief work.

Adding to the list is actress Sai Tamhankar, who recently donated `1.5 lakh to the Maharashtra CM’s relief fund for the fight against

Covid-19

. Speaking about her contribution, Sai says, “It’s a small effort from my side. I want to do whatever I can to help in this fight. I will stand with those heroes who are leading this fight against the virus, as we all should. This is a time to exercise caution. Follow the govt’s instructions. Together, we can triumph over this pandemic.”

Besides Sai, another top Marathi actress, Sonalee, has donated an undisclosed amount towards the cause.
