Sachin Pilgaonkar on Dilip Kumar's demise: I salute Saira Banu for taking care of Dilip Kumar so well

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar breathed his last today, July 7. The entire film fraternity is currently mourning the loss of the legendary actor. ETimes got in touch with veteran actor-director Sachin Pilgaonkar, who has worked with the 'Tragedy King' in films like ‘Dastaan’ and ‘Bairaag’.
Expressing his grief, Sachin Pilgaonkar said, "I always been a fan of Dilip Saab and have been watching his films since childhood.I was blessed to have worked with him so early in my career"
"I think he chooses not to work too many films. As we see his career span, the number of films is less. Probably that is a reason, he was known as a legend. He was very particular about his films. Whenever and whatever Dilip Saab did, people appreciated it. Because he had his own style and persona" Pilgaonkar added.
While praising Dilip Kumar's wife Saira Banu, Pilgaonkar said, "I salute Saira Aapa for taking care of Dilip Kumar so well. She stood by him strongly through all these years. Truly was the epitome of love"
